Brief Description
A license that permits the holder to act as the pilot in command (PIC) of an aircraft during visual day and night conditions.
Curriculum
The student will obtain the knowledge, skill, and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a private pilot certification with an airplane category rating and a single-engine land class rating. Basic Requirements
- Be at least 17 years of age.
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate.
- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test, which consists of an oral and flight skills exam conducted by an FAA-designated examiner.
