Brief Description
A rating that allows the pilot to control an aircraft with more than one engine. Teaches about more complex aircraft systems and the aerodynamics associated with multiple engines. Multi-Engine Rating is a necessary pilot certification add-on for any aspiring pilot to advance to the airlines, or to increase their overall marketability in the aviation workforce.
Basic Requirements
- Hold at least a private pilot certificate.
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Hold at least a valid third-class medical certificate.
- No minimum hourly requirement: however, our students generally require 12 to 18 hours of flight instruction.
- Pass a practical test.
